In November 2012 a container arrived on the south side of the Island of Negros in the Philippines. The container contained medical equitment, clothes and other useful items. The medical equitment was used to stock and outfit a number of small hospitals and medical clinics. In most cases, these facilities had their supplies exausted over years and months previous because of a recent earthquake and typhoon.
In December 2013 another typhoon struck the Island of Negros leaving thousands of people without clean water or food. Some of the food that arrived in 2012 was still avaliable and it was distributed to help these people in need.
Abba Child Ministries, Canada for Negros, Emmanuel Foundation as well as many volunteers and donors worked together to make the project possible.
