Get Involved

Emmanuel Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals and groups for much of what we do each year. The work of Emmanuel Foundation would not be able to continue without the giving of time, physical goods and finances.

We are always looking for help!

Below are some of the areas with which we are always looking for support. If you have an interest in getting involved in any of the areas mentioned below, please contact us through the “Contact Us” page. As well, if you have other ideas for ways you want to get involved that are not listed below, please reach out to us.

Areas to Volunteer

Sorting items and general help around the warehouse;

  • Items to sort include clothing, medical supplies, books etc. Each week a group of awesome people comes together to sort through items and ensure all items being shipped are quality items that communicate respect for the people receiving them

Identifying and organizing medical items;

  • Emmanuel Foundation often has medical equipment that is donated and is in need of trained medical personnel to help identify and organize these items. If you are a nurse, doctor or have had experience working with medical equipment and were willing to assist in identifying and organizing medical equipment we would love to hear from you!

  • Emmanuel Foundation relies on the generosity of people to cover their annual expenses and help make their work a reality. If you would consider helping the Emmanuel Foundation through a financial contribution, it goes a long way to supporting the projects we do each year.
  • If you have an idea for a fundraising avenue or would like to host a fundraiser for the Emmanuel Foundation, we would be grateful!
  • If you are interested in helping the Emmanuel Foundation market themselves better through advertising, social media, and other avenues, we would also love to hear from you!

Collecting and Delivering items;

  • We always need people who are willing to travel around Edmonton and surrounding areas to pick up items that have been donated. Access to a truck (the bigger the better!) is always a great thing, but not necessary!
